This project explores ways to reconnect with traditional settlements by arranging a series of houses around a shared outdoor space with views toward the river or the land.

In addition to providing comfort from a climatic standpoint, this organization facilitates supportive relationships and solidarity among neighbors, especially with a shared workshop and a common house. Inside the dwellings, visual and spatial links further reinforce opportunities for living together: rooms relate to the outside and also communicate with each other on different floors. Variations in ceiling heights and setbacks between dwellings provide a variety of transitions for intimacy for families.
